There are times when our food tastes too salty or cakes lack flavour. An expert reveals some of the kitchen secrets to make your meal perfect.
Nidhi Wadhwa, owner and chef, Zura - Bistro Bar Bakery, Gurgaon shares how to do it the right way:
- If your dish has become salty, sprinkle lemon juice to reduce the saltiness.
- To get the best results of baking, all ingredients like eggs and baking powder should be kept in airtight containers at room temperature.
- When you keep bread in fridge for long, make bread crumbs and use on top of potato burger. Then fry it to get crispy potato burger.
- When you make eggs, they leave strong smell on the utensil. To get rid of it, wash the container with used tea bags or tea leaves.
