Remembering the legendary tabla maestro late Pt. Shankar Ghosh, the Legends of India will be paying tribute to him at the 17th Annual Sangeet Mahotsav to be held on December 23 in the national capital.
On this occasion, an 'All Drum Orchestra' composed by Pt. Shankar Ghosh titled 'Music of the Drums' will be played as the inaugural number followed by the thundering beats of a tabla solo by the maestro Bikram Ghosh.
The audience will also get an opportunity to enjoy the exceptional expertise of Ustad Rashid Khan in the slow elaboration of Vilambit Khayals, who will be accompanied by Tanmoy Bose on tabla, delighting the audience with wonderful acoustics.
