One Direction singer Liam Payne was reportedly forced to call in plumbers to deal with a rotten eggs smell lingering around his house in Surrey, south east England.
According to a soure, Payne, whose girlfriend Cheryl is expecting their first child together, is hoping to have the problem fixed this month by bringing in some experts, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"The smell reeked of rotten eggs and left a taste in your mouth when you walk past," the source said.
Payne's neighbours are said to be hoping that his workers will be able to quell the "thoroughly unpleasant" stink before Christmas.
"Plumbers were trying to get to the root of the problem last week and neighbours were hoping it could be done quick. It was thoroughly unpleasant," the source added.
