Ronaldinho has warned Newell's Old Boys that their Copa Libertadores semifinal against Atletico Mineiro is wide open despite the Argentine club's 2-0 victory in the first leg.
The return match will be played at Atletico's Arena Independencia in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte Wednesday, July 10, and Ronaldinho vowed his team would be bristling after the loss in Rosario, reports Xinhua.
"We're going to play for our lives, for the history of the club. We're going to shed our blood there," the two-time FIFA world player of the year said.
Atletico Mineiro are aiming for their first Copa Libertadores title, considered the most important club trophy in Latin America.
Ronaldinho's team is the highest scorers in this year's competition, averaging 2.3 goals a game overall and 2.8 per match at home.
