Chandigarh and its surrounding areas received light rain on Wednesday morning.
The rainfall started on Tuesday night and continued intermittently.
Chandigarh recorded a maximum temperature of 22.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 9.6 degrees.
The Met department has predicted light to moderate rain on Wednesday.
Besides Chandigarh, the rainfall was also experienced in different parts of Punjab and Haryana on Wednesday.
Dry weather has been predicted by the Met department from Thursday onwards.
