The weather department has predicted light rain in Delhi on Saturday evening with the minimum temperature recorded at 22.6 degrees Celsius.
"The sky would remain partly cloudy in the morning. Light rain or thunderstorms is very likely to occur in some parts in the evening," an official of India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius, the official said.
According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 66 percent.
Friday's maximum temperature settled at 36.6 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 19.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the average for this time of the season.
