Lightning injures 15 at French music festival

At least 15 people were injured by lightning at a music festival in France.

The lightning struck several areas of the Vieux Canal festival in the town of Azerailles on Saturday, the BBC reported. The injured include children who were in a tent during the storm.

The victims were directly hit by the lightning and suffered burns, authorities said. A woman in her 60s and a 44-year-old man were reported to be in a serious condition.
