German passenger carrier Lufthansa Wednesday said it will launch services between Frankfurt and Mumbai on its flagship Boeing 747-8 from July 15.
Mumbai becomes the third city in India where Lufthansa will operate the Boeing 747-8. Currently it operates the aircraft to Delhi and Bangalore.
Lufthansa was the global launch customer for the latest version of the Boeing jumbo jet.
