Actor Dhanush's forthcoming film "Maari", which is slated to hit the theatres on July 17, has got a 'U' certificate.
The 31-year-old "Raanjhanaa" actor took to micro-blogging website Twitter to announce about the films certification.
"#maari July 17 th release with "U" certificate. #varom #july17 #senjuruven #godbless," Dhanush tweeted.
In the film, Dhanush is said to be playing a local hooligan, who goes with the catchphrase "Will finish you off".
Directed by Balaji Mohan, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander. "Maari" is jointly produced by R. Sarath Kumar, Radikaa Sarath Kumar and Listin Stephen.
