German football club Mainz and defender Joo-Ho Park agreed on a two-year contract extension on Thursday.
The South Korean international put pen to paper on a contract extension which keeps him at Mainz until June 2017, reports Xinhua.
"Joo-Ho Park is a top performer and reliable player of our team. He is besides that very popular within the squad. We are thus delighted that we can continue our cooperation with him," Mainz manager Christian Heidel said.
The 28-year-old defender joined from Swiss club FC Basel in the summer of 2013 to score one goal in 42 appearances for the 'Nullfuenfer'. Tenth placed Mainz encounter bottom team Stuttgart in the 31st round of Bundesliga on Saturday.
