The team behind superstar Rajinikanth-starrer "Enthiran 2" is reportedly planning to use motion capture technology to shoot some of the important portions of the Tamil film, which will also be shot in 3D.
"The film will be shot in 3D. It was decided last week that some key scenes will be filmed using motion capture technology and the team has already started prepping. The scenes featuring the technology will be shot at a studio in Hollywood," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Motion capture technology was earlier used in Rajinikanth's animated film "Kochadaiiyaan", which was directed by his daughter Soundarya.
To be directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca International, "Enthiran 2" will feature Amy Jackson.
"The makers are currently in talks with Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger to play the antagonist in the film. Shankar also has plans to make the third part in the franchise," the source said.
The rest of the cast is in the process of being finalized soon.
It will go on the floors early next year.
