Mamata extends birthday wishes to Bangladesh PM, Lata Mangeshkar
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday extended birthday greetings to Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on her 70th birthday.
"Birthday greetings to Sheikh Hasina Ji. Pray for your good health and long life. Bhalo thakben," Banerjee tweeted.
The Trinamool Congress supremo also wished Indian playback singing icon Lata Mangeshkar who turned 87 on Wednesday.
"Birthday greetings to @mangeshkarlata ji," she wrote on Twitter.
Banerjee will visit Mumbai in October to present the state's highest civilian honour, the Banga Bibhusan, to the legendary singer.
