A 52-year-old book binder was arrested for raping his employee in his house, police said Thursday.
Abdul Afaq was arrested from his house in Khanpur area of south Delhi following the victim's complaint Wednesday.
The woman told police that Afaq took her to his home Nov 11 and forced himself on her. He also threatened her with dire consequences if she told anyone about the assault.
She further said that he had offered her Rs.7,000 per month for a job in his book binding shop and used to pick her and drop her daily in his car.
The girl also said that she recently shifted to Delhi from Ghaziabad for the treatment of her husband, who is suffering from an advanced stage of bronchitis, and hence was under severe pressure to work.
