A 43-year-old man was arrested from Uttarakhand for killing a 76-year-old man over a property dispute here, Delhi Police said Friday.
Naresh, who was posing as a Kanwariya (Hindu pilgrim), was arrested from a 'Kanwar' camp in Haridwar Thursday, said R.A. Sanjeev, the deputy commissioner of police.
He was one of the accused in the killing of Kashi Ram in east Delhi's M.S. Park area July 22.
After his arrest, police also managed to arrest the master mind of the murder Ravinder, the son-in-law of the deceased.
"Ravinder planned this murder with Naresh and also helped him by giving him Rs.20,000. Ravinder also promised to pay him a handsome amount after the murder," said the police officer.
After the murder, Naresh left for Haridwar posing as a Kanwariya.
