A man was arrested here for molesting an eight-year-old eunuch in a mall situated on the Mehrauli-Gurgaon road, police said Monday.
The accused, identified as Pawan Kumar, 24, of Bilaspur district in Himachal Pradesh, was arrested from the MGF Mall here.
The caretaker of the child, also a eunuch, lodged a complaint at the DLF-2 police station.
"The accused has been booked under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act," a police officer told IANS.
The accused was produced Monday in the court of chief judicial magistrate Rajesh Sharma, who sent him to 14 days' judicial custody.
The accused worked in a factory in the industrial model township of Manesar.
