A man was arrested here for allegedly sending e-mails to 16 Rajasthan ministers threatening them of terror strikes on the Republic Day, a police officer said Sunday.

"We have arrested Sushil Chaudhary, a resident of Murlipura area in Jaipur, after tracking IP (internet protocol) address of a cyber cafe," the officer told IANS. The arrest was made here Friday night, the officer added.

"Chaudhary confessed that he sent those e-mails to the ministers from a cyber cafe," official said. Chaudhary told police that he was unemployed.

"We are interrogating him," the official said.

On Dec 22, 16 Rajasthan ministers received mails on their official mail IDs purportedly from the Indian Mujahideen warning of terror strikes in the state on the Republic Day.
