A man, Rana Yashwant Singh, was killed and another injured in a shootout in the Jharkhand capital on Friday, police said here.
The incident took place at Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) near here.
Police said the victim was the son of Congress leader and HEC union leader Rana Sangram Singh.
The injured person, who is the victim's brother, was admitted to a local hospital and his condition is critical.
