A man was arrested from a village in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district for killing his married daughter who refused to have sex with him, police said Friday.
Raktu Bhagat, resident of Mustafaganj village under Meenapour police station in Muzaffarpur, about 70 km from here, killed his daughter Rajni Kumari when she protested his move to have sex with her late Wednesday night.
"Police have arrested Bhagat on charge of killing his own daughter for refusing to have sex after a complaint was lodged against him by his son-in law," police official Madan Prasad Singh said.
During interrogation, Bhagat told police that he killed his daughter in a fit of anger for refusing to have sex with him.
He has been sent to judicial custody for 15 days.
