A 25-year-old man was abducted and shot dead by five men due to a rivalry in Gurgaon district, police said on Monday. No one has been arrested so far.
Dharmendar was shot dead near Tikli village in the Aravali foothills by Ramesh Kumar and his four accomplices. Both Ramesh and Dharmendar's families hail from Tikli.
Police said Dharmendar was an accused in the murder of a man from Ramesh's group but was acquitted by a court in 2013.
Police said Dharmendar informed his brother Amit on phone regarding his kidnapping from the village before he was shot multiple times by his captors.
