Manchester United duo Michael Carrick and Danny Welbeck will miss the friendlies against Chile and Germany as they have withdrawn from the England squad due to injury.
The Three Lions will face Chile Friday evening at Wembley Stadium, before Germany's visit four days later, reports Xinhua.
All the three teams have qualified for the 2014 World Cup finals.
England manager Roy Hodgson will add no further players to the current 26-man squad.
