Actor Mark Wahlberg wants to be involved in every aspect of his children's lives, but at the same time he would like to discipline them.
The 42-year-old, who has kids Ella, ten, Michael, eight, Brendan, five, and Grace, four, with wife and model Rhea Durham said it is important for him to have a close relationship with his family so that the children aren't terrified of him, reports contactmusic.com.
The actor said that maintaining a close relationship with kids doesn't mean he won't administer discipline when needed.
"I think the most important thing is to always be involved in every aspect of their life. To give them enough trust that they can share things with you. I don't want them to be terrified of me, you know?," said Wahlberg.
"But I don't want them to think they can do whatever they want and get away with it, either, because they can't," he added.
