Mauritius president in Karachi

Mauritius President Ameenah Firdaus Gurib-Fakim arrived here on Sunday on a four-day visit to Pakistan.

Her first engagement was a meeting with Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad Khan, reported Radio Pakistan.

The Mauritian president, who is leading a nine-member delegation, will also visit Islamabad where she will meet her Pakistani counterpart Mamnoon Hussain.

Ameenah will hold talks with the Pakistani leadership to enhance cooperation in economy, energy, infrastructure development and security, Radio Pakistan said.
