TV actor Mayur Verma, known for his role in "Swaragini", says he will be seen in the upcoming tenth season of the controversial reality show "Bigg Boss".
"I have been selected as a contestant for upcoming season of 'Bigg Boss'. Last year, I had been nominated as a wild card contestant, however as it was right after my break-up with Marina (Marina Kuwar), I thought to refrain from sharing same screen space. But this time, I am very much looking forward to being on the show," Mayur said in a statement.
"Bigg Boss" will soon be back on the small screen with its tenth season, and this time the spotlight is on the common man. For the first time, the controversial reality show will open its doors to the common people to appear as contestants along with the stars. The show will air on Colors channel.
While Mayur has confirmed his participation in the show, there has been no formal announcement from the channel's side.

'The Stage 2' contestants pick their favourite artists
International names like Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and pop band Maroon 5 are some of the names that inspire the contestants of English singing talent hunt show "The Stage 2".
According to a source, the majority of the singers that got through the auditions and the first round, sang Bruno Mars' "When I was your man" and Maroon 5's "Sunday morning".
"Among other international musicians, Bieber and George Ezra also seemed to be the young singers' preferred artists. The contestants shared that these songs are fresh and they resonate with each and every lyric of the song," said the source.
The source added: "They also shared that like how every generation has a few artists that define the collective movement, emotion and struggle of that generation, Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, Adele and Bruno Mars are those artists for the millennials."
"The Stage 2", which is aired on Colors Infinity channel, is judged by Vishal Dadlani, Monica Dogra, Ehsaan Noorani and Devraj Sanyal.
