Actress Rachel McAdam couldn't hide her embarrassment while watching her 12-year-old audition tape for the film "The Notebook".
Matt Lauer, the host of "Today" show, surprised the actress when he showed her the footage in which a young McAdams and a guy off screen recite lines.
McAdams, who appeared on the show to promote her new film, "A Most Wanted Man", couldn't help but cringe at her younger self acting in an emotional scene, reports contactmusic.com.
"Why are you cringing?" host Matt Lauer joked. "You got the part!"
The romantic film, which was a global hit, celebrated its 10th anniversary recently.
