Contrary to circulating rumours, actor Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves's marriage is not "on the rocks."
A representative for McConaughey told gossipcom.com that the rumour was not true. A mutual friend of the "Dallas Buyers Club" actor added that "(McConaughey) couldn't be more supportive of anything Alves does."
The couple was heading for splitsville because Alves has been making more TV appearances, said a report.
According to the report, while the star of "The Wolf of the Wall Street" once publicly thanked his wife for helping revive his career, "he doesn't want her to have the same success."
After noting Alves's recent hosting gig on E! and appearances on "Today" show, the report quotes a source as claiming: "He'd rather she focus on family life."
"At this point, they have major problems to work through," the source said, before further alleging that Matthew's view has led the couple to have "nonstop fights."
The report then claimed that the couple's friends feared they would separate soon.
McConaughey and Alves tied the knot on June 9, 2012 in Austin, Texas after six years of dating.
They have three children: son Levi, daughter Vida and son Livingstone.
