Actress Uma Thurman has broken her silence on the issue of sexual assault allegations concerning Harvey Weinstein, hinting that she herself was a victim of the Hollywood producer.
Thurman, who worked with Weinstein in films like "Pulp Fiction" and the "Kill Bill" series, slammed him in a Thanksgiving post over Instagram on Thursday, reports theguardian.com.
Alongside a photograph of herself as The Bride from "Kill Bill", Thurman wrote "Happy Thanksgiving. I am grateful today, to be alive, for all those I love, and for all those who have the courage to stand up for others."
She later referred to a video interview from October in which she said she was too angry to discuss the Weinstein scandal.
"I said I was angry recently, and I have a few reasons, #metoo, in case you couldn't tell by the look on my face. I feel it's important to take your time, be fair, be exact, so... Happy Thanksgiving everyone! (Except you Harvey, and all your wicked conspirators -- I'm glad it's going slowly -- you don't deserve a bullet) -- stay tuned Uma Thurman," she added.
