Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team's Michael Metge continue to perform well as he finished at the first place in the stage 2 of the 10th edition of the Afriquia Merzouga Rally, here on Wednesday.
The stage comprised 145 km of special stage with the riders covering the distance of 210 km in the Moroccon Desert. The stage was a mix of sandy passages and a mountain range, where navigation played a key role.
Metge said: "There was some tricky terrain in the stage, but it was a smooth ride for me. I am happy that my bike is in a good shape, and hope to finish the Rally on the same note."
B. Selvaraj, Team Manager, TVS Racing, said: "The team has maintained a consistent performance at the end of Stage 2. I am glad that Michael is able to maintain his momentum and stay in the top."
Stage 3, the marathon stage of 230 km, will see riders race through the dunes without any technical support.
