"Transformers: The Last Knight" director Michael Bay says he likes to push the "boundaries of cinema in terms of look, feel and sound" with all his projects.
In a video, Bay claims that he is the first filmmaker ever to use two of the ALEXA IMAX cameras in a 3D rig to provide audiences with an epic 3D experience, read a statement.
"We are the very first blockbuster to shoot - not 10 minutes, not 15 minutes of IMAX footage - but, 98 per cent IMAX footage," Bay said.
"We decided to take two ALEXA 65 cameras to create real IMAX 3D. I always like to push the boundaries of cinema in terms of look, and feel and sound," he added.
Releasing in India on Friday, "Transformers: The Last Knight" is a Paramount Pictures presentation and is exclusively distributed in India by Viacom18 Motion Pictures.
