Actor Michael Fassbender is in talks to star in the adaptation of Jo Nesbo's crime novel "The Snowman".
Tomas Alfredson, the man behind "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy", will be directing the crime drama, reports variety.com.
To be produced by Working Title Films in association with Alfredson's Another Park Film, the movie revolves around Harry Hole and how he immerses all his attention in investigating the disappearance of a woman, whose pink scarf is found wrapped around an ominous-looking snowman.
Working Title's Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will produce along with Piodor Gustafsson. Soren Sveistrup has penned the script.
