Midfielder Nilton has played down a possible move to Europe this summer.
Reports have linked the Brazilian with a transfer to Liverpool and Internazionale, but the 26-year-old insists his focus is on helping Cruzeiro defend their Brazilian Serie A title, reported Xinhua.
"This has been going on since last year, with teams from Spain, Italy and France," he told Brazilian sports portal Globoesporte.
"It's nice to get recognition. My agent Vagner Ribeiro has told me that there will be speculation but nothing has come as yet.
"When it does, I'll let you know. I have a year-and-a-half on my contract. I don't hide that I dream of playing in Europe, but my dream at the moment is here at Cruzeiro. I want to win the Libertadores and the Brazilian league again."
Nilton was key to the Belo Horizonte club's triumph last season and was named in the Campeonato Brasileiro's team of the year.
