Mumbai Police on Thursday quizzed here Mikhail Bora, son of Indrani Mukherjea, wife of a former media honcho and accused of murdering her daughter Sheena.
A two-member Mumbai Police team first spoke to Mikhail and his ailing grandparents for over an hour. Later, Mikhail was called to Dispur police station and grilled a second time.
"They asked me some questions and I cooperated with them. I do not want to disclose anything now. They have said they might call me again. I will cooperate with them," Mikhail told the media.
Assam Police gave no details, saying they were only facilitating the investigation by Mumbai Police.
Earlier, Mikhail said he could be his mother's next target after she allegedly killed his sister Sheena in 2012.
"I do not know. I may be the next target of my mother. She is very powerful and she can do anything she wants," he told reporters here.
He said he was ready to go to Mumbai to help the investigation but was scared to go alone.
"I can go to Mumbai only if the Assam government ensures that two nurses take care of my grandparents here," he said.
Indrani Mukherjea is the wife of former CEO of INX Media, Peter Mukherjea. Sheena Bora and Mikhail Bora are her children from a previous relationship and were raised by their grandparents in Guwahati.
On Wednesday, Mikhail revealed that Sheena was his sister, that Indrani had mothered both of them and this could be easily be proved by a DNA test.
He also said that he knew the reason why Sheena was murdered and he would reveal it after August 31 if Indrani does not volunteer to tell the truth.
