Fresh from a 1-1 draw against Roma, AC Milan trained at Milanello on Sunday and started to set their sights on Wednesday's Italian Cup football match against Carpi.
"The work-out got underway at 11.30. The players that started against the Giallorossi held a cool-down session in the gym while the rest of the squad took part in a full session which started with a warm-up," Milan said on their website.
Afterwards, the footballers were put through their paces with a keep-ball exercise and technical-tactical drills. Sunday's session came to an end with a practice match 6 v 6 on a reduced size pitch.
French winger Jeremy Menez did the entire session with the rest of the squad in his bid to regain full fitness.
