A minor fire broke out at South Block, which houses the ministries of defence and external affairs as well as the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), an official said.
"A minor fire broke out at 5.55 p.m. at South Block today. As soon as we received the call, we have sent 13 fire tenders to the spot," a fire department official told IANS.
He also said the damage, if any, wasn't immediately known.
