'Mission: Impossible 5' scheduled for 2015 X-Mas release

The makers of the fifth instalment of action series "Mission: Impossible" have decided to release it on Dec 25, 2015.

Hollywood actor Tom Cruise will reprise his role as secret agent Ethan Hunt in "Mission: Impossible 5".

The 50-year-old will star in and produce the fifth instalment while "Jack Reacher" writer and director Christopher McQuarrie will go behind the camera, reports hollywoodreporter.com.

Drew Pearce has penned the script for "Mission: Impossible 5".
