It was a cloudy, nippy morning in the capital Tuesday as a light veil of fog enveloped the city and the minimum temperature settled three notches below the season's average at 12.3 degrees Celsius.
The Met Office has forecast a cloudy day.
"The skies will remain cloudy through the day. There will be light mist in the evening," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature will hover around 28 degrees Celsius, added the official.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 83 percent.
The city experienced similar weather Monday and the maximum temperature was recorded two notches below the season's average at 28.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 12.6 degrees Celsius -- three notches below the season's average.
