Mizoram Governor Vakkom Purushothaman, who was transferred to Nagaland, said here Friday that he has resigned.
Speaking to reporters on his arrival in this capital city, he said it's improper to transfer governors like government staff.
"Now I will be involved in party work here and will not go after power politics," said the 86-year-old veteran Congress leader.
