A 24-year-old woman from Mizoram was found murdered and lying in a pool of blood at her home here. The police are now hunting for her male partner, an officer said Friday.
Juliet's body was found lying in a pool of blood at her house in south Delhi's Munirka area by her neighbour late Thursday night. She had sustained head injuries and stab wounds in her abdomen.
"The victim was lying in a pool of blood and had head injuries. She had been stabbed in the abdomen," a police officer told IANS.
She was taken to Safdarjung hospital where doctors pronounced her dead.
Police said Juliet had come to Delhi around five years ago and had been staying in Munirka for the last few months with a male partner, Virender Singh, who will questioned once he is traced.
According to police, Juliet was working in a call centre while Virender Singh was preparing for the civil services exam.
