Rehaan Raas Dev, a model from Jammu, is set to represent India in Mongolia later this month for the Mr Asia 2017 pageant.
It will be held between May 18-21.
"I'm honoured to represent our country on such a prestigious platform. Such kind of body building championships can be taxing, but I have faith and a positive energy around me," he said in a statement.
Rehaan is also the winner of Mr India Men's Physique 2017 contest organised by the Indian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Talking about fitness, Rehaan said: "I strongly believe that fitness comes from within. One certainly needs discipline and dedication, but all that begins with control over your mind. If you train your mind, your body will listen to it."
Before the contest, he had a successful career in finance. He's a qualified chartered accountant. He had significant global experience and worked as a head of finance at an international investment firm.
