Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a "Superman", Minister of State for Sports Vijay Goel said on Tuesday.
Modi also enjoyed immense popularity among the youth, Goel said at an event here.
"The country has found a Superman. His name is Narendra Modi," he said, and added that India was progressing in the right direction under his leadership.
Justifying demonetisation, the minister said it was a timely decision aimed at weeding out corruption and black money from the country.
