Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted the people on the 350th foundation day of the Sikh holy city of Anandpur Sahib.
"Greetings on the 350th Foundation Day of Sri Anandpur Sahib. This is truly a special and historical occasion. We remain inspired by the tenets of Sikhism and bow to the great Sikh Gurus, who have left a very deep impact on our culture and society," the prime minister said.
Anandpur Sahib in Ropar district of Punjab is one of the most important sacred places for the Sikhs, closely linked with their religious traditions and history.
