Prime Minister Narendra Modi left Singapore for India on Monday night at the conclusion of a four-day visit to southeast Asia that also took him to Malaysia.

"From Strategic Partnerships to invest's & the Indian comm'y, another action packed visit ends. PM emplanes for Delhi," Vikas Swarup, spokesperson of the external affairs, tweeted.

Modi left soon after addressing the Indian diaspora here.

After his arrival in Singapore on Monday, he delivered the 37th Singapore Lecture on "India's Singapore Story".

On Tuesday, he held delegation-level talks with his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong. India and Singapore signed a joint strategic partnership and nine accords cutting across various sectors.

Lee also hosted Modi for lunch following which the latter visited the Institute of Technical Education, a skills development training centre.

He also laid a wreath at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's memorial here and addressed the India-Singapore Economic Convention.

In the first leg of Modi's visit that took him to Malaysia, he attended the 13th Asean (Association of Southeast Asian Nations)-India Summit and the 10th East Asia Summit.

In the bilateral phase of that visit, he held delegation-level talks with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak following which India and Malaysia signed three accords on cyber security, culture and infrastructure development.
