Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and St Lucia Prime Minister Kenny Davis Anthony here separately for bilateral talks.
Immediately after his speech at the UN Sustainable Development Summit, Modi got down to bilateral meetings on Friday.
He first met the prime minister of St Lucia, an island nation in the eastern Caribbean, and later he held talks with President Sisi of Egypt.
"Continuing Caribbean collaboration. PM @narendramodi has pull aside with Kenny Davis Anthony, PM of St. Lucia," tweeted external affairs ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup.
"Reaffirming an ancient connection. PM @narendramodi meets for the first time with President Sisi of Egypt," he tweeted.
