The Bihar assembly polls result is a reflection of insult to Bihar by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RJD chief Lalu Prasad's daughter Misa Bharti said on Sunday.
Bharti, who was one of the star campaigners, said she was happy for the victory of the Grand Alliance of the Janata Dal-United. Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Congress.
"Modi got a result of his insult to Bihar. People of Bihar were hurt by Modi's insult to them," Bharti said.
She said: "The grand alliance's victory will be celebrated by the people across Bihar as a Diwali."
She said people have rejected Modi's intolerance and voted for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's development and Lalu Prasad's social justice.
The polls to the 243-member Bihar assembly took place in five phases between October 12 and November 5. Counting of millions of votes cast in the polls is underway on Sunday.
