Veteran Marxist leader and former Kerala chief minister V.S. Achuthanandan on Sunday congratulated the leaders of the Grand Alliance in Bihar - Lalu Prasad Yadav and Nitish Kumar - for their victory in the state assembly polls.
In an e-mail sent to them, Achuthanandan congratulated them for stopping the communal, fascist parties at the poll.
"The poll results show that the people of country are not with Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is going ahead with a communal fascist agenda. The results show that there should be a unity of the democratic secular parties in the country," said Achuthanandan.
