Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday participated in a traditional Mongolian festival held specially in honour of his visit to this eastern Asian nation.
Attired in traditional Mongolian costume with a sola hat in place, Modi, accompanied by Mongolian Premier Chimed Saikhanbileg, tried shooting arrows the "Mini Naadam" festival.
Archery is one of the three sports played at the traditional festival. The other two are wrestling and horse-racing.
Naadam is Mongolia's biggest festival and is held in mid-summer. Sunday's event was an advanced version held to mark Modi's visit, the first by an Indian prime minister to Mongolia.
Modi reached Mongolia's capital Ulan Bator from Shanghai in China on the second leg of his three-nation visit that will also take him to South Korea.
Earlier in the day, Modi addressed the Great Hural, Mongolia's parliament, which was specially convened on a Sunday for his visit.
India and Mongolia signed 13 agreements across a broad spectrum of sectors, including air services and cyber security.
The Indian prime minister also announced a $1-billion line of credit to Mongolia.
