Modi to visit Chandigarh, Uttarakhand on Friday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Chandigarh and Uttarakhand on Friday.

He will inaugurate a new terminal building at the Chandigarh airport and attend the convocation ceremony of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, a statement issued here said.

"The prime minister will inaugurate a new housing scheme and address a public meeting at Sector 25 in Chandigarh," it added.

Later in the day, Modi will visit the Swami Dayananda Saraswati Ashram in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
