Borussia Monchengladbach extended the contract with Patrick Herrmann for another year, the club said on its official homepage.
"I have been here for almost five years and I still feel very comfortable here. I have learned a lot and improved myself. Together with the team I achieved a lot and I would like to continue this progress," the 22-year-old Herrmann told Monchengladbach's official homepage Saturday.
The Under-21 German international scored 16 goals in 92 appearances to prove himself as a key player of the "Foals".
"By now Patrick is a key player of our team therefore we are pleased with his contract extension," Monchengladbach sports director Max Eberl said.
