German Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach have signed Australian youngster Kwame Yeboah until 2017.
The 19-year-old striker joins the "Foals" from Australia's first division side Brisbane Roar. However, at first he will join Monchengladbach's Under-23 team to adapt himself to the new surroundings, the club announced on their official homepage Thursday, reports Xinhua.
"We are delighted that Kwame opted for Monchengladbach. He has a great potential and fits perfectly to our requirement profile," sports director Max Eberl said.
The new arrival added: "This is a big step in my young career. In Australia they broadcast the Bundesliga, so Monchengladbach is a household name."
The "Foals" occupy fourth position with 32 points, equal with third placed Dortmund, to remain in the hunt for a UEFA Champions League berth.
