Mortar attack kills 13 in Syria
At least 13 people were killed and 17 others injured Friday when mortar shells were fired at a government-controlled neighbourhood in Syria, media reported.
The mortar shells hit the predominantly Christian neighborhood of al-Ashrafiyeh, SANA news agency reported.
The injured were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital.
