Moscow invites Kim Jong-un to 70th Victory Day anniversary

Moscow, Dec 19 (IANS/TASS) Moscow has sent an invitation to the supreme leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, to the forthcoming 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany.

"It is true that such an invitation has been sent," Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed.

Russia will be celebrating the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War May 9, 2015.

By tradition, the leaders of many countries are invited to attend the festivities. the 60th anniversary of victory were attended by the leaders of the US, Japan, France, Germany and China.
